Troubleshooting

My computer can't open .air files

Some of our older games require Adobe Air. It is free, and safe to install. Install Adobe Air

Downloaded file is damaged.

Users may receive a popup during installation that reports the file as "damaged", which is likely not the case. Installation can be successfully achieved, using one of the following methods:

  • Uninstall the application if it is already installed.

  • Make sure the application folder does not exist (in, for example, c:\Program Files or c:\Program Files (x86)). If it does exist, delete it.

  • Empty the Trash (Mac OS) or Recycle Bin (Windows)

  • Restart your system

  • Check that your computer's system clock is correct. Correct the date and time if it not current.

  • Remove Adobe Air through the control panel “Add and remove programs” and reinstall the latest version of the Adobe AIR runtime (download from http://get.adobe.com/air).

  • Delete your internet history and cache

  • Disable your antivirus for download and installation.

  • Download the application again, and wait two minutes after download completes before attempting installation.

  • This error can also occur during installation if a standard or restricted user has turned off User Account Control (UAC) in Windows. From Control Panel, Open UAC and enable it. A restart could be required. Once complete, retry the installation.

  • Still not working? Check out these additional references here and here.

  • If none of the above work, we have an alternate file that you can ask us for.

  • As always, our games come with a 60-day money back guarantee.

Game not saving data.

View troubleshooting steps:

  • Deletion of internet cookies and cache will delete your game data.

  • This game file must be REMOVED FROM IT'S ZIP FILE and kept some place like your desktop. Failing to do this will prevent the game from saving your progress.

  • Some types of 'cleaning' software may also be deleting your game data.

  • The game may not have the rights to save data on your system, so try either launching this game with administrator rights, or try moving the game to your Documents folder.

  • It also could be that your system does not allow saving of data from certain games, in which case, please try adjusting your system settings through the Adobe Website Tool.
